Festival of Creativity 2022

Launched in July 2019, University of Plymouth and Plymouth College of Art created a unique spin on the traditional arts degree show via a spectacular website connecting graduates, industry and the public to spark employment, community engagement and new economy projects across Plymouth and beyond.

This summer the award-winning IGNITE Festival of Creativity returns to the city of Plymouth for its fourth year, celebrating the work of hundreds of creative graduates from over 30 degree programmes, and a schedule of recruitment and employability content, in a series of exhibitions and events across multiple city-wide venues, including galleries, studios and event spaces.

IGNITE is putting a unique spin on diversifying the high street with a city-centre venue, open for all. Powered by emerging local creatives this inclusive new unit will be part gallery and part event space at the heart of the city-wide IGNITE Festival of Creativity.

This additional thread of recruitment and careers programming is built around daily physical and online activity where employers and Alumni can share information and experiences to potential employees, freelancers, and those looking to start businesses.
