Biography
Hi, I'm Courtney, throughout my art education I have found that I mainly enjoy working with oil paints to explore and depict the female form. I am very interested in the shapes and contours of the female form. I love the way the body looks from a multitude of angles, positions, lighting, and how vastly different it can look just by changing even one of those aspects. I also enjoy using other materials such as graphite pencils and charcoal as I can be as free or as meticulous as I want to be by using these, just like oil paint. Aside from the female form, I also paint and draw animals, I find their exciting personalities interesting to paint, and trying to bring out more of their liveliness through the painting is something I find fascinating.
