In my practice, I work with a range of materials and found objects and strive to produce unusual and innovative creations. The medium of textiles has taught me to embrace my distinctive individuality and celebrate the things that make my work distinct. I enjoy producing embroidery collections that feature unusual and eccentric pieces which explore the use of bold colours, intricate detail and innovative design sense. Mixed media embroidery is a design technique which allows me to work with a range of materials and fabrics, exploring how each material interacts with another and allowing me to explore freely the considered boundaries of textile design.
