Biography
It is impossible to escape interior design in our everyday lives. My work explores the way that this impacts us, and how the design that we surround ourselves with shapes our individual styles. I am influenced by current and future trends, and how we each identify with them differently. I explore this through styled schemes and photography.
It is also important to me to create designs that will have a lasting impact, to predict sustainable trends, and create schemes that encourage longevity in design.
Industry Experience
Throughout my degree I have collaborated with a variety of photographers, I have assisted with technical help and styling for both university projects and commissioned work. This includes styling professional shoots alongside an experienced photographer. These opportunities were hugely valuable as I was able to experience first hand the role of a stylist.
I have also had the opportunity to work on live briefs, these have helped me gain an insight into the industry and understand the commercial application of both interior design and interior styling. Live briefs that I have worked on include projects within hospitality and residential interiors.
