Plymouth College of Art
I am a passionate designer that experiments and pushes the boundaries of each project completed. I am unafraid to take risks and uses my knowledge of interiors, fashion and art to inform design or styling choices made. I enjoy building on and enriching ideas using outer influences and combining them to form unusual points of inspiration. Aesthetics and experience are of the utmost importance when it comes to designing resulting in the production of my work that is innovative and engaging. I am invested in ensuring the client and users of the space are impacted by their surroundings and take away from it the desired feeling that was initially planned. My wide range of social and cultural influences allow the exploration of many different styles which can be seen in my work completed over the last three years of study. I am a proactive and hard working individual that ensures everything I complete is delivered to a high standard. Furthermore, I am also heavily enthusiastic about styling and editorial as shown by my final major project. I care for bringing the different worlds of design, including but not limited to fashion and interiors, together as one and with my strong creative vision designing/styling spaces and outfits that represent the client or desired aesthetic. My curiosity and imagination allows for the creation of unique and stylised projects that define an original point of view and who I am as a designer.
My most recent experience was competing in the British Institute of Interior Design's Student Design Challenge. Over two days myself and five other course-mates redesigned the Topshop flag store in London to a multi-use space that focused on community and sustainability. Together we were awarded third place.
