Plymouth College of Art
I'm an aspiring 3D modeler finishing my Game Arts degree at Plymouth College of Art. I have been working on my modelling skills and have now grown accustomed to doing high poly modelling, as well as starting a series of models I will be working on over summer. I also have the ability to work from my own concepts, allowing me to be more diverse in my roles within the industry.
I have had previous knowledge working in the concept art pipeline, working for a couple of smaller studios in the North West, designing character art, cutscene art and logos for them. Recently I was brought onto a team for a second time to create realistic looking prop designs and for the games cover art. I am an enthusiastic, driven and a hard working individual that drives to have the best designs, I work well under pressure and am able to create quick thumbnail sketches for a variety of choices for character and asset concepts. During lockdown I worked remotely from home and contacted the company I was working with via Zoom calls and Slack, I managed my time effectively in order to generate the best work to show to the company, as well as working closely with the lead artist to get their designs perfect for their intended use. I was able to use their constructive criticism and create the best work possible, and I loved being a part of their team in order to help make their work come to life.
