Interior Decoration, Design & Styling
Lauren Dawe was born in the South East of England, having always grown up around nature reserves she has a great appreciation for the outdoors and loves to bring this into her work as an interior designer where she can. Throughout her childhood her parents moved frequently and her father, a retired interior designer, constantly redesigned their new homes, this exposure to design led to a love for interiors and their endless possibilities. Her most recent explorations revolve around bringing these two passions together, bringing the inside out and how we can learn to live more in harmony with our outdoor spaces again. By exploring ways of drawing people outside with typical interior comforts she aims to create a new world of design that brings together landscapes and interiors. A versatile and passionate designer, Lauren consistently produces a wide range of quality schemes.
Lauren has completed a wide range of projects for her degree, including office designs, cafe spaces, retail schemes, residential homes and outdoor features. Her most recent projects include 'Bringing the Inside Out' a project focused on encouraging people to utilise their outdoor spaces by involving more home comforts in exterior environments. 'MADNESS' is another one of Lauren's recent projects, this scheme involved creating a retail space for a miniatures stockist as well as a flexible social space designed to be a cafe during the day and a table top games hall during the late afternoon and evening. These are just two examples of Laurens diverse abilities and schemes.
