Industry Experience
Hello, I’m a student in my final year in Graphic Communications at Plymouth College of Art (PCA). After graduating in Graphics & Digital Media Design FDA on the Isle of Wight I joined the wonderfully creative PCA in October 2020.
My work is experimental and has a balance of creating visuals by hand and then combining with professional digital platforms, fully appreciating how the two can work together in harmony. I’m a multi-disciplinary visual designer/artist with a passion for working with nature, typography and print. My plans are to license my designs globally on greeting cards, gift dressings, textiles and surface pattern designs. I would also like to work in a design studio part-time with other designers and directors to solve problems and deliver client briefs.
Working with people is important to me as I love to be part of a team, sharing ideas and working together towards a common goal. Equally I also enjoy designing at home or sat in a busy quirky café, drinking coffee and people watching, gathering inspiration from human forms, listening to conversations and studying the environment inside and out. My connection with nature is important so I spends a lot of time at the beach, in the water and amongst trees.
If I could live in a tent or camper van I would.
