Plymouth College of Art
BA (Hons) Interior Decoration, Design & Styling
As someone who has always had a creative eye, my time at art school has helped me refine and specialise my skill set. Styling, specifying products and creating interior based graphical content are my true passions and have inspired my most recent self-directed projects. I’m eager to refine my skills further in industry as a self driven, adaptable individual who enjoys collaborating with other creatives. My work revolves around an enthusiasm for creating compositions through colour, textures and layout along with a curiosity for trends and what influences them. My most recent project ‘Homeaware’ was inspired by the concept of the ‘Circular Economy’ aiming to bring more awareness to sustainable interior and lifestyle products through graphics, photographic styling and event design. ‘Creative Makers’ was another of my projects where I curated a booklet celebrating creatives who make products for interior spaces, featuring interviews and photographs of their products. The booklet was a response to how politics, sustainability, mass production and digital technology have contributed to a resurgence in traditional crafts and purchasing from independent creators.
