Madeleine creates both delicate and abstract hand painted florals celebrated within this collection Through digital alteration it encompasses the contrast of both quirky and dainty designs. Her inspiration is taken from the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, along with numerous visits to Royal Kew Gardens in London and drawings from observation of floral bouquets. Since creating surface pattern prints she has found a passion for hand painterly designs, encompassing a variety of mixed media and experimenting brush strokes in mark making.
Toddlekind Live Brief - April 2020 The live brief gave me the opportunity to create designs for children's playmats for their upcoming collection. By winning the live brief I gained 3 weeks internship with the company. Toddlekind Internship -April 2020 Assisting with design tasks such as creating flyers and labels, using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. Including creating packaging designs, layouts and even creating packaging nets. After the internship I was asked if I wanted to be involved in more projects and I am currently still working alongside the company.
