BA Architecture (Hons)
My story in design began with a meticulously observant nature, and a drive to expand upon conventional boundaries. After winning an RIBA work experience competition, I progressed into BA Architecture (Hons) at Plymouth University. Those earlier traits have slowly manifested in my everyday outlook; more deeply understanding the richness in architecture that engages with vernacular life - making place rather than object. For me, defining and interpreting heritage requires a more flexible and open response; where the vernacular is questioned and constructed, rather than given and assumed. My passion is for architecture that is timeless, embedded within context, and enables a nostalgia and anticipation to personally emerge.
