Biography
I am a Product Design Graduate from the University of Plymouth, with an interest in human centered design looking to deliver high quality customer experiences and long lasting designs.
During my study, I have explored visual design language indicating functionality within my designs to lead to an intuitive user experience. I have also researched durable design, both physically and psychologically, by developing high quality products that can accommodate user needs for a longer period of time.
Industry Experience
At university I have had the opportunity to work with several companies and clients who each had unique briefs and standards to work to. Throughout these briefs, my designs have encompassed a wide variety of materials and production techniques giving me insight into how to design for manufacture.
Practical design skills such as sketching, model making and using digital tools such as Fusion 360, Solidworks and the Adobe suite have been matured throughout my study.
I have had the opportunity to work as a team leader on design projects and have developed practical team working skills through all design phases. I also have gained remote working skills and experience communicating and collaborating on design projects digitally.
