Biography
Sophie Davis is a jewellery designer working from Plymouth, UK.
Sophie’s specialism is in small-scale metalwork and jewellery design. In the past, she has worked with precious and non-precious metals to produce experimental jewellery designs.
Many of Sophie’s jewellery designs use functional mechanics as the decorative feature of the work. An example of this can be seen in her new collection of work, where nut and bolt pieces are cast into silver. The silver nut and bolt pieces are then used as the closing mechanism for a silver chain bracelet.
