Biography
Donatienne is a french illustrator based in Plymouth, UK. Originally from Paris, she is particularly interested in travelling and sports of all sorts – like motorcycle riding, skating and hiking. She also has a passion for cinema and literature.
Donatienne's work is characterized by rough textures and bold colours. She specialises in editorial illustration, and she is always playing with her practice and experimenting with different techniques, such as animation or screen printing. She takes inspiration in various fields from cinema, old NASA archives, to classic painting and 1980s comics.
Industry Experience
Donatienne had the opportunity to work with Saint Luke’s Hospice for the Elmer's Big Parade in 2019, creating a design and painting it to be displayed in the center of Plymouth.
Her work was featured in Regeneration published by Pylon Press, in the IamLabel exhibition and in issue 2 of Laud Magazine.
